Body Located in Winnipesaukee River Tilton, NH

On Friday January 11, 2019, the Tilton Police Department, Tilton Fire Department, New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, and New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit responded to a report of a body that was located in the Winnipesaukee River at the Clement Dam. They were able to recover the body of an adult male subject. Official identification of the male deceased is pending autopsy and next of kin notification. No further press releases are expected until the aforementioned occurs. The autopsy is tentatively scheduled for Sunday January 13th. Foul play is not suspected at this time.
