Crash with Lane Closure

NASHUA, New Hampshire - On August 25, 2023, at approximately 3:15 p.m., Troopers from the Troop B Barracks responded to a crash on the F.E. Everett Turnpike Northbound in the area of the exit 5 off-ramp, in Nashua.  

Upon arrival, Troopers observed a commercial sized dump truck towing a loaded equipment trailer in the median, facing Southbound.  Investigating Troopers determined that the commercial vehicle had swerved to avoid a merging motorist, resulting in the truck and trailer jackknifing and sliding off the roadway. No injuries were reported in the crash.

Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Nashua Police Department, the Nashua Fire Department, New Hampshire Department of Transportation, and the Department of Environmental Services for the cleanup of a small amount of fuel.  The right two lanes were closed for approximately two hours while the scene was cleared by emergency personnel.
