Danbury Shooting Investigation

Troop D

DANBURY, N.H. – The New Hampshire State Police is investigating the shooting of an adult male in Danbury.

At 10:09 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024, State Troopers assigned to the Troop D barracks responded to a residential location in Danbury for a report of a shooting.  Nearly simultaneously, members of the Grafton Police Department and Troopers assigned to the Troop F barracks responded to a home in Grafton for a report of a person with a gunshot wound.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the shooting occurred in Danbury before the adult male traveled to Grafton. 

The adult male was transported to a medical facility for treatment of their injuries. All parties involved in the incident have been identified and there is no threat to the public.
