Domestic Violence Incident/Shooting - Sullivan
On Saturday January 1, 2022 at approximately 4:58 p.m., New Hampshire State Police Communications received a call reporting a domestic violence incident in progress at a residence on Valley Road in the Town of Sullivan, NH. Upon arrival, troopers determined that three adult family members were involved in the disturbance and that one of them had sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound during the altercation. All involved parties were identified on scene, and the gunshot victim was transported to Cheshire Medical Center (and ultimately Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center) for treatment. There is no threat to the general public. The incident remains under investigation and charges may be forthcoming.
The New Hampshire State Police were assisted on scene by members of the Keene Police Department and Sullivan Fire and Rescue.
