Driver Flown To Hospital After Crash On F.E. Everett Turnpike

Troop B

NASHUA, N.H. – A Nashua woman was seriously hurt in an early morning crash on the F.E. Everett Turnpike.

At 5:01 a.m. today, Nov. 10, 2024, State Troopers assigned to the Troop B barracks were dispatched to mile marker 3.2, on the northbound side of the turnpike in Nashua, for a report of a crash. When Troopers arrived, they found a blue Toyota Matrix that had struck a bridge abutment off the right side of the road. The driver of the Toyota, later identified as Molly Rodwell, 21, of Nashua, was trapped in the vehicle.

Nashua firefighters responded and were able to free Rodwell from the Toyota. Rodwell was then transported by medical helicopter to a Massachusetts hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be serious but non-life-threatening.

The New Hampshire State Police was assisted at the scene by members of the Nashua Police Department, Nashua Fire Department, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation. All northbound travel lanes were closed for approximately 40 minutes so that the medical helicopter could land on the highway.

All aspects of the crash remain under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the crash or with information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Trooper Abigail Wells at 603-230-3192 or Abigail.A.Wells@dos.nh.gov.
