Driver Injured In Single-Vehicle Crash

Troop C

SULLIVAN, N.H. – A teenager suffered serious injuries in a crash on Route 9 in Sullivan.

On Monday, Sept. 2, 2024, at 4:27 a.m., State Troopers assigned to the Troop C barracks responded near Valley Road for a report of a single-vehicle crash. Upon arrival, it was determined that a 2023 Toyota Tacoma driven by Ayslin Claudio, 19, of Chichester, was traveling westbound when Claudio failed to negotiate a curve and the Tacoma left the road. The Tacoma then struck a large boulder and rolled multiple times.

Fire and EMS personnel had to extract Claudio from the Tacoma. Claudio was then taken by medical helicopter to Concord Hospital as a precaution due to serious and unknown injuries.

Route 9 was closed for several hours during the investigation. Speeding and reckless driving appear to be primary factors of the crash.

Troop C was assisted at the scene by members of Sullivan Fire & Rescue and the Keene Fire Department.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact Trooper Troy Couillard at Troy.J.Couillard@dos.nh.gov or (603) 358-3333.
