Drowning, Baker Reservoir, Warren
On July 6, 2020 at approximately 6:24 PM, New Hampshire State Police Communications received a call reporting a man and his dog who overturned in a canoe on the Baker Reservoir in Warren. A witness reported seeing the dog swim to shore, however, the man went underwater and did not resurface.
Responding agencies included New Hampshire State Police-Marine Patrol, NHSP Troop F, New Hampshire Fish and Game, Warren Police, and Warren Fire/Rescue. The victim, an adult male, was located around 7:30 PM. His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
