Drowning on Pool Pond in Rindge

Rindge, New Hampshire – On Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 3:00 PM, New Hampshire State Police Communications was notified of a missing person believed to be in Pool Pond in Rindge, NH. Multiple agencies responded including New Hampshire State Police-Marine Patrol, NH Fish and Game, Rindge Police Department, Rindge Fire and Rescue, Jaffrey Fire and Rescue, Winchendon Dive Team, and the New Hampshire Water Rescue Task Force.

Upon arrival, investigators learned that earlier in the day, the victim’s dog was found swimming in the water with no one around and was brought to shore. Shortly thereafter, a family member unsuccessfully attempted to contact the victim and called for help. Personal belongings were also found on a nearby beach.

Search efforts continued and the adult male victim was located around 5:30 PM approximately 300 feet from shore. He was recovered from the water and pronounced deceased.

The incident is under investigation and the victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The victim was identified as Benjamin Dabuliewicz, age 38, of Warner, NH.
