Drug Investigation - Interstate 95, Greenland

On July 29, 2019 at approximately 3:3opm, Trooper First Class Brian Gacek conducted a motor vehicle stop along Interstate 95 in Greenland. The vehicle in question, a 2012 Subaru Legacy, had been observed driving in an aggressing manner. During the course of the traffic stop TFC Gacek became suspicious about the intentions of the vehicle occupants. He asked for, and received, permission to search the vehicle roadside.

Pursuant to the search, TFC Gacek seized approximately 150 grams of suspected Heroin/Fentanyl. He also seized a small amount of marijuana and prescription medication. As a result of the seizure, 26 year-old Anthony Govan of Boston, Massachusetts was arrested.
