DUI/Motor Vehicle Accident, Interstate 93 - Sanbornton

On July 11, 2021 at approximately 3:20pm, NHSP Troop D responded to the report of a vehicle traveling erratically on Interstate 93 North. Troopers responded to the area to intercept the vehicle; while responding, dispatch advised that a motor vehicle accident had occurred on Interstate 93 North in Sanbornton, NH.

Trooper Micah Jones responded to the scene to find that vehicle had exited the roadway and crashed into the embankment off the shoulder of the Interstate.

Trooper Jones identified the operator as Sullivan, Connor, Age: 27, Laconia, NH.

An investigation revealed that Sullivan was operating while under the influence.

While on-scene, Trooper Jones received information from dispatch advising that several callers had reported being struck by another vehicle while on the Interstate and that the operator of the other vehicle left the scene of the accident.

It was discovered that Sullivan was responsible for striking at least 5 other vehicles while traveling on Interstate 93 North between Concord, NH and Sanbornton, NH.

Trooper Jones placed Sullivan under arrest on the following charges:

• Driving Under the Influence
• Operating without a Valid License
• Conduct after a motor vehicle accident

Sullivan was processed and released on a personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned in the Franklin District Court.
