DWI Saturation Patrol, Mount Washington Valley Area
During the hours of 9:00pm, Saturday, August 31, 2019 through 3:00am, Sunday, September 1, 2019, New Hampshire State Troopers from Troop E in Tamworth conducted a DWI Saturation Patrol in the Mount Washington Valley Area in collaboration with the Conway Police Department, Jackson Police Department, Bartlett Police Department and Madison Police Department.
State Troopers stopped a total of 55 motor vehicles and issued summonses for speed and license violations. Five physical custody arrests were made during this DWI Saturation Patrol period.
- Matthew Raia, age 48, of Ayer, Massachusetts was arrested for DWI.
- Kimberly Raia, age 53, of Ayer, Massachusetts was placed into protective custody.
- Joshua Kozacka, age, 29, of Madison, New Hampshire was arrested for Operating After Suspension Subsequent Offense.
- Christopher Gately, age 35, of Norwood, Massachusetts was arrested for DWI.
- Lisa Delforno, age 36, of Marshfield, Massachusetts was placed into protective custody.
Colonel Christopher Wagner, Director of the New Hampshire State Police and Lieutenant James Fogarty, Commander of the Troop E barracks consider the detection and apprehension of impaired drivers and enforcement of the Driving While Intoxicated statutes to be a top priority. They will continue to collaborate and utilize DWI Saturation Patrols and other means to deter, detect and remove impaired drivers from New Hampshire roadways.
