Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash

ALSTEAD, New Hampshire – On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 3:46 a.m., Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop C Barracks, responded to Alstead Center Road (NH-12A) for a motor vehicle rollover.

Upon arrival, it was determined that a 2015 Jeep Compass was traveling southbound when it crossed the centerline, just south of Chartier Ln. The Jeep drove off the roadway and onto the northbound shoulder, striking an embankment, which caused the Jeep to rollover.

The operator of the Jeep was identified as:
Jeannie Davis
Age: 44
Alstead, NH

and she was pronounced deceased at the scene. Route 12A was shut down for several hours during the investigation.  New Hampshire State Police Troop C was assisted at the scene by the Alstead Police Department, the Alstead Fire/EMS Department and New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
