Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash

Westmoreland – On June 12, 2023, at approximately 4:57 a.m., New Hampshire State Police Troop C was notified of a serious motor vehicle crash on South Village Road in Westmoreland. The crash was near the intersection of Owls Hill Road.

Troopers responded and found a 2005 Toyota Sienna Van, driven by Kristina H. Gomarlo, Age: 40, Westmoreland, NH, had been traveling southbound on South Village Road when it drove off the side of the roadway and struck an embankment. Gomarlo was ejected from the vehicle and passed away at the scene.

Preliminary investigation into the crash indicates that alcohol, speed and distraction may all have been potential contributing factors.

Troopers were assisted at the scene by members of the Westmoreland Fire Department and Cheshire EMS.
