Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash - Updated

DERRY, New Hampshire – On November 1, 2023, at approximately 6:13 p.m., the New Hampshire State Police Troop B Barracks responded to a crash on Interstate 93 Southbound in Derry.

On scene investigation revealed that a tractor-trailer unit rear ended a 2009 Lexus ES350 Sedan.  The driver of the tractor trailer unit was identified as: 

Luciano Miguel Garone
Age: 26
Stallings, North Carolina

The driver of the Lexus ES350 was pronounced deceased at the scene, as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.  The identity of the driver of the Lexus ES350 is not being released at this time, pending notification of next of kin.

At the request of the Troop B Barracks, the Collision Analysis & Reconstruction (C.A.R.) Unit responded to the scene and took lead of the investigation.

Update: The deceased operator of the vehicle has been identified as Maya Muchnik, age 78, of Needham, MA.
