Fatal Motorcycle Crash In Bedford
Troop B
BEDFORD, N.H. – A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Bedford.
On Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024, at 5:09 p.m., State Troopers assigned to the Troop B barracks were dispatched to a motorcycle crash on the off-ramp from Raymond Wieczorek Drive onto South River Road.
The preliminary investigation determined that Brandon G. Roy, 33, of Nashua, was riding a green 2020 Honda motorcycle on the off-ramp from Raymond Wieczorek Drive when he did not negotiate a right-hand turn along the ramp. Roy ultimately lost control of the motorcycle and crashed, suffering life-threatening injuries, and the motorcycle came to rest in the road.
The off-ramp was closed while the Bedford Fire Department attempted to provide life-saving measures. Roy was transported to Elliott Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The off-ramp was reopened at approximately 7:30 p.m. after State Police conducted a thorough on-scene investigation. State Police were assisted by the Bedford Police Department, Bedford Fire Department, and members of the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
The crash investigation remains active and ongoing. Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Trooper Noah Brown at (603) 223-4381 or noah.c.brown@dos.nh.gov.
