Fatality Motor Vehicle Crash, Kensington Road, Hampton Falls, New Hampshire
On Saturday, November 7, 2020 at approximately 1139AM, Troopers from New Hampshire State Police-Troop A responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of 39 Kensington Road in the Town of Hampton Falls. It was determined that a 2013 Mercedes C300, operated by 40 year-old Earl GANOE, JR of Seabrook, was traveling west on Kensington Road when he lost control of his vehicle striking a guardrail, a rock wall and ultimately a utility pole. GANOE, JR was transported to Exeter hospital due to injuries he sustained in the crash. The passenger of the vehicle, whose name is being withheld pending notification of kin, sustained fatal injuries. GANOE, JR was eventually arrested at the hospital and charged with Negligent Homicide, Manslaughter, Aggravated DWI, DWI Subsequent Offense, Reckless Conduct, Falsifying Physical Evidence, Operating after Suspension and Operating without a Valid License.
At the request of Hampton Falls Police Department, the New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction (C.A.R.) Unit responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
Due to the collision, this area of Kensington Road was closed for approximately 4 hours while the crash was investigated and traffic was diverted around the collision. The New Hampshire State Police were assisted on scene by the Hampton Falls Police Department, Seabrook Police Department, Kensington Police Department and Hampton Falls Fire Department.
All aspects of this crash remain under investigation including causation however it does appear that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
