Felonious Sexual Assault Arrest

GILSUM, New Hampshire – On Wednesday, December 27, 2023, members of the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force comprised of Detectives from the New Hampshire State Police Troop C Barracks executed an arrest warrant on:

Eric Michael CASTINE
Age: 27
Keene, NH

This investigation initiated with a report to State Police, which alleged that Mr. CASTINE used the social media app Snapchat to facilitate more than one alleged sexual assault between Mr. CASTINE and a person under 16 years of age. Troop C Detectives have developed information to believe that Mr. CASTINE used Snapchat to communicate with and make in-person contact with other juveniles.

Mr. CASTINE was arrested and is currently charged with committing one act pursuant to NH RSA 632-A:3, Felonious Sexual Assault (Class B Felony). The investigation into Mr. CASTINE’s contact with children is ongoing and additional charges are anticipated.

Mr. CASTINE is expected to appear before the Cheshire County Superior Court on Thursday, December 28, 2023, for an arraignment and is currently being held on preventative detention.
