Habitual Offender Arrested After Fleeing Crash Scene

Brentt Trudeau booking photoBow, New Hampshire – On October 4, 2022 at approximately 9:45 PM, the New Hampshire State Police Communications Unit received reports of a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 93 north, in the town of Bow, involving two vehicles. Shortly after arriving on scene, Troopers learned that one of the drivers, later identified as Brentt A. Trudeau, Age: 30, Contoocook, NH, had fled the scene on foot, and were also able to hear him running through the woods. Trooper Cattabriga and his K9 partner, Jacob, responded to the scene and began a track in the area. After tracking through the woods for approximately one mile, Troopers were able to locate Trudeau and take him in to custody.

Trudeau was transported from the scene and booked on charges including Operating as a Habitual Offender, DWI (Subsequent), Driving After Suspension (Subsequent), Conduct After an Accident, Resisting Arrest, Open Container and Stopping/Standing/Parking Prohibited. Trudeau was later released on his own Personal Recognizance and ordered to appear in the Merrimack County Superior Court at a later date.
