Hazardous Operator Leads to Multiple Crashes
Franklin/Salisbury, New Hampshire – The New Hampshire State Police Troop D is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and obtaining witnesses in regards to a hazardous operator who was involved in multiple minor crashes in Franklin and Salisbury, NH. On December 18, 2022 from approximately 1:30 – 2:30 PM, both the Franklin Police Department and the State Police received multiple reports of a tan/gold pick-up truck that had crashed multiple times between the two towns. From reporting callers and roadside evidence, it is believed the pick-up crashed four times on South Main Street and Route 127 in Franklin and three times on Route 127 and Route 4 in Salisbury.
The suspect vehicle is a gold/tan older model GMC or Silverado. The suspect vehicle at this time should have extensive front end damage, missing headlights and be missing both driver and passenger side mirrors. It is believed that the suspect vehicle may have had a red plow affixed to it at one time, as one was found at a crash scene.
Witnesses stated another pick-up truck may have been traveling with the suspect vehicle and pulled the suspect vehicle out of one the crash scenes. This secondary vehicle is believed to be a newer model blue pick-up truck with possible red and white temporary license plates.
These crashes resulted in only property damage and there is no information to believe there is physical injury to any parties involved with the suspect vehicle.
