Incident in Charlestown - Connecticut River

Google map showing Connecticut River sceneOn November 6, 2021 at approximately 1000 hrs NH State Police-Dispatch received a call of male victim floating in the Connecticut River in Charlestown, NH. Two Hunters in the area found the victim in the water and called authorities.

NH State Police Troop C, NH State Police-Marine Patrol, NH Fish and Game, Charlestown Police and Fire and North Walpole Fire responded to the call.

The male victim's identity is being held pending the notification of next of kin. Foul play does not appear to be suspected.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning by the NH Medical Examiner’s office.
