Juvenile Operator Charged with Speeding
BOW, New Hampshire – On February 4, 2024, the New Hampshire State Police Special Enforcement Unit conducted a traffic enforcement initiative utilizing the State Police aircraft on Interstate 93 North in the Town of Bow.
During the enforcement effort, a Trooper in the aircraft clocked a 2015 Toyota Highlander, operated by a 17-year-old juvenile, at 110 MPH, traveling in and out of heavy traffic.
When Troopers stopped the vehicle, they observed five additional passengers in the vehicle, several of them juveniles. Troopers also discovered alcoholic beverages in the vehicle.
Troopers took the operator into custody and charged the individual with: Speeding, Reckless Driving and Minor Transporting Alcohol. A Bail Commissioner released them on their own recognizance, and they are due to appear in the 6th Circuit Court – District Division Concord on March 15, 2024, at 8:00 a.m.
Troopers took three other juveniles into protective custody during this incident.
