Man Arrested at DMV Attempting to Use a False Identity to Obtain a Driver's License, Concord, NH
On April 28, 2020, members of the New Hampshire State Police, Troop G – Investigations Unit responded to the Division of Motor Vehicles in Concord after receiving information of the presence of a male subject, who was believed to have used fraudulent information in an effort to obtain a New Hampshire driver's license.
Upon their arrival, Troopers were able to locate the suspect, who identified himself as Ramon MALAVE AVILES, 48, of Derry, New Hampshire. With the assistance of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Troopers were able to actually identify the subject as Modesto SALDANA, 52, of Lynn, Massachusetts.
SALDANA was taken into custody at the Division of Motor Vehicles and charged with two counts of Tampering with Public Records. He will be arraigned in the 9th Circuit Court – District Division – Manchester Court on August 10, 2020 at 8:00 A.M.
Members of the Troop G – Investigations Unit are highly skilled Troopers who have received specialized training in the detection of fraud as well as identifying fraudulent documentation and are assigned to assist with crimes occurring at the Division of Motor Vehicles.
