Man Arrested While Attempting to Use Fraudulent Documents to Obtain Driver’s License & Motor Vehicle Title
Concord, New Hampshire – On June 10, 2022, members of the New Hampshire State Police Troop D and Troop G – Investigations Unit responded to the Concord Division of Motor Vehicles after receiving information of an individual attempting to submit fraudulent documents. Upon arrival, Troopers were able to locate the suspect, who identified himself as Ron Henson, 61, of New Mexico.
Investigation revealed that Henson presented an Application for Driver’s License containing fraudulent information along with a counterfeit residential lease agreement with the purpose of obtaining a New Hampshire driver’s license and motor vehicle title.
Henson was arrested without incident at the Division of Motor Vehicles and charged with Unsworn Falsification and Tampering with Public Records. He was released on Personal Recognizance bail and will be arraigned in the 6th Circuit Court – District Division in Concord on July 1, 2022 at 8:00 AM.
The New Hampshire State Police Troop G – Investigations Unit is comprised of Troopers who are assigned to the Division of Motor Vehicles whose primary mission is the investigation of fraud involving DMV processes. They have received specialized training in the detection of fraudulent documentation and are often called upon for their expertise in this area.
