Motor Vehicle Accident, Route 4, Chichester, NH

On December 28, 2019 at approximately 1:30 am, NHSP Troop D responded to the report a two vehicle, motor vehicle accident involving a NHDOT plow truck on Route 4, Chichester, NH.

An investigation revealed that a NHDOT pickup truck was traveling westbound on Route 4 when it encountered a vehicle traveling eastbound, which had crossed over the double yellow lines and into its lane of travel. Attempts to avoid the vehicle were unsuccessful and the both collided head-on.

The NHDOT operator was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The other operator, identified as Dylan Beaudet, Age 25, Chichester, NH was also transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injures. BEAUDET was arrested and charged with Aggravated DUI and DUI Subsequent Offense.

Assisting at the scene were the Chichester Police, Epson Police, Chichester Fire/EMS and NHDOT.
