Motor Vehicle Collision, Westmoreland, NH

At approximately 6:10 a.m. on May 23, 2020, Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Route 12 in Westmoreland south of London Crossing Road.

Preliminary investigation revealed that

Ethan MOODY
Age: 17
Alstead, NH

was operating a 2010 Ford Focus south on Route 12 and

Maureen BARRY
Age: 68
Keene, NH

was operating a 2019 Kia Sorento north on Route 12 when the two collided. Both operators sustained serious injuries and were transported by ambulances from the scene. Route 12 was closed for approximately two hours as a result of the collision.

The New Hampshire State Police were assisted on scene by personnel from the Westmoreland and Keene fire departments as well as the Department of Transportation.

The collision remains under investigation at this time.
