Motor Vehicle Crash, Route 11, Wilmot, NH

On Sunday, 10/25/2020 at approximately 4:23 A.M. New Hampshire State Police Troop D was requested to respond to a single motor vehicle collision in the area of 252 Route 11 in the town of Wilmot, New Hampshire. Upon arrival, a single vehicle was found that had overturned and struck a utility pole. The vehicle was identified as a Honda Fit.

Based upon the initial investigation, the vehicle was traveling east on Route 11 when it drifted off the roadway to the right. The vehicle struck a concrete sewer cover and overturned before striking the utility pole. The lone operator sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on scene. The operator was identified as: Jakob Reed of Andover, NH, Age: 26.

At this time it appears that speed was a factor in this crash, however all aspects remain under investigation.
