Motor Vehicle Pursuit

Laurie Rebecca Keith booking photoManchester, New Hampshire – On January 14, 2023 at approximately 1:34 AM, a New Hampshire State Police Trooper from the Troop B barracks was attempting to locate a vehicle that was involved in a brief pursuit with the Manchester, NH Police Department earlier in the evening. The trooper located the vehicle traveling on a city street in Manchester and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was identified as a 2013 red BMW 3 series.

The operator failed to stop for the Troopers emergency lights and sirens, continued to flee, and entered the interstate on I-93 northbound towards Hooksett. At times, the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and was having lane control issues. Troopers from the Troop B and D barracks were successful in deploying spike strips on I-93 near the Hooksett rest area, which deflated two of the vehicles tires. The operator continued to travel at a slow rate of speed while riding on its rims and exited the interstate in Concord. With the assistance of the Concord, NH Police Department, they were also successful in deploying spike strips on the vehicles tires and the pursuit came to end on Gas Street near several closed businesses. The operator was taken into custody without incident.

The lone operator was identified as Laurie Rebecca Keith, Manchester, NH, Age: 39

Keith faces charges out the Hillsborough North Superior Court to include felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, disobeying a police officer, aggravated driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, negligent driving, traffic control device violation, solid line violation, lane control violation and failure to use required turn signals. Keith refused bail and is scheduled to appear at the Hillsborough North Superior Court on January 17, 2023 at 1PM.
