Motorcycle Crash Fatality - Interstate 93 North, Windham
On August 29, 2019, at approximately 4:56 pm, Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police-Troop B Barracks responded to a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 93 northbound in the area of the exit 3 on ramp.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2002 Harley-Davidson FLSTCI motorcycle, driven by Michael Carrier, age 56, of Pelham, NH was traveling northbound on Interstate 93 when he lost control of the motorcycle and struck the guardrail.
Upon striking the guardrail Carrier was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Interstate 93 remained open during the investigation.
Assisting the New Hampshire State Police at the scene was the Windham Fire and Police Departments. The motorcycle was towed from the scene by RGA Towing service.
