Multi-Town Low Speed Pursuit
Candia, New Hampshire – On February 17, 2023, at approximately 11:19 PM, State Police dispatch was advised that officers from the Windham Police Department were attempting to stop a blue BMW, but the vehicle was refusing to stop. After the suspect vehicle had been successfully spiked, it traveled north on Interstate 93, at which point Troopers took over as the primary pursuing units.
The suspect vehicle eventually exited the highway in Londonderry and began traveling north on Route 28, through Route 28A in the city of Manchester, and Route 3 in the town of Hooksett. It eventually began traveling east on Route 27 through Hooksett and the town of Candia. After coming to a stop at a private residence, which had no relation to the suspect, the driver fled from Troopers at a high rate of speed, through the private residences' yard. Troopers were able to locate the suspect vehicle a short time later, after the vehicle had crashed attempting a U-turn on Route 27. The driver attempted to flee from the crash scene on foot but was apprehended by Troopers shortly thereafter.
After being taken into custody, the driver was identified as Jillian Morrone, Age: 28, Bow, NH.
Morrone was transported to the Rockingham County Jail, where she was held pending her arraignment on State Police charges of Reckless Conduct, Disobeying an Officer, and Resisting Arrest. Morrone will also have charges from other local agencies related to the pursuit.
