NH State Police To Conduct Training Exercise On Lake Winnipesaukee

GILFORD, N.H. – On Tuesday, September 24, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., members of the New Hampshire State Police including the Crisis Negotiation Unit and Marine Patrol Unit will be conducting a training exercise on Lake Winnipesaukee in the Gilford area.

During the training exercise, there will be a law enforcement presence, and loudspeaker announcements near several boats may be heard. Residents and visitors in the area are advised this is only a simulation and there is no cause for concern.
