Overnight Saturation Patrol Results In Arrests

BEDFORD, N.H. – 10 people were arrested during an overnight saturation patrol conducted by State Troopers of the Troop B barracks. Three of those arrested were charged with driving under the influence.
The high visibility saturation patrol – coordinated on the Everett Turnpike, Interstate 293 and Interstate 93 – began in the evening hours last night and concluded early this morning, Sunday, May 5, 2024. Cinco de Mayo festivities, which commonly involve increased alcohol consumption, are held annually on May 5.
During the initiative, Troopers stopped 40 vehicles for various violations and primarily searched for aggressive and impaired drivers. Troopers also responded to a DUI-related crash that resulted in injuries. Additionally, the below arrests were made:
- Ryan Ahmed, 19, of Bedford (DUI);
- Marissa Munafo, 32, of Manchester (DUI);
- Brian Pinkerton, 28, of Manchester (DUI);
- Emma Greene, 22, of Manchester (reckless operation);
- Nathan Boardman, 23, of Milford, (reckless operation);
- Shawn White, 35, of Nashua (operating as a habitual offender);
- Charlen Ricci, 34, of New Boston (operating after suspension, second offense for DUI);
- Dalton Moreno Eras, 41, of Nashua (bench warrant);
- Ruth Gaoaa, 35, of Nashua (operating without a valid license); and
- Malachi Thwaites, 27, of Chelsea, Massachusetts (operating without a valid license).
Similar enforcement efforts will continue throughout the spring and summer seasons with the goal of improving safety when traveling the roadways of southern New Hampshire.
