Reckless Operation Arrest

Gilford – On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at approximately 7:05 a.m., Trooper Alexa Williamson of the New Hampshire State Police Troop E Barracks was on patrol on the RT3/RT11 Bypass in the town of Gilford, NH. During this time, Trooper Williamson observed a silver SUV traveling at a high rate of speed. The initial speed of the silver SUV was clocked at 92MPH. The operator increased the speed to 104MPH, in a posted 55MPH zone. Trooper Williamson activated her emergency blue lights and stopped the motor vehicle. The operator was identified as Lucas Carter, Age: 50, Laconia, NH.

Carter was processed and bailed for Reckless Operation with a court date of July 13, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. in the 4th Circuit District Court in Laconia.
