Reckless Operation/DWI, Interstate 93, Bow

On January 26, 2019 at 0330 hours, Trooper Anthony Pratt was monitoring weekend traffic when he observed a vehicle traveling at an excess speed. Trooper Pratt was able to obtain a radar reading of 117mph in a posted 55mph zone.

Trooper Pratt conducted a motor vehicle stop and was able to make contact with the occupants of the vehicle.

An investigation revealed that the operator of the vehicle, identified as Kelly Murphy, Age 20, Derry, NH, was operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol. Murphy was subsequently arrested and charged with:

• Aggravated Driving Under the Influence
• Underage DWI
• Reckless Operation
• Unlawful Possession of Alcohol

A passenger, identified as Marissa Palazzo, Age 19, Derry, NH, was also arrested and charged with:

• Resisting Arrest
• Unlawful Possession of Alcohol

Both subjects were processed and released and are awaiting arraignment in the 6th Circuit Concord Court.
