Rollover Crash Involving Three Vehicles

HAMPTON, New Hampshire – On June 9, 2022, at approximately 4:20 PM, Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop A Barracks responded to a report of a rollover crash on Route 101 Eastbound in Hampton. The crash involved a total of three vehicles and resulted in both lanes of the eastbound side of Route 101 being shut down for approximately 15 minutes until the right breakdown lane could be opened up for traffic to pass.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the first vehicle lost control and rolled over, striking a second vehicle that then had minor contact with a third vehicle. The operator of the vehicle that rolled over was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital for evaluation of minor injuries. No other injuries were sustained as a result of this crash.

The New Hampshire State Police were assisted at the scene by members of the Hampton Police Department and Hampton Fire Department.

All aspects of the crash remain under investigation. Neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected as contributing factors. State Police is requesting that anyone who may have further information or dashcam video of this incident to contact the investigating Trooper, Sergeant Christopher Cummings at Christopher.J.Cummings@dos.nh.gov.
