Serious Motor Vehicle Crash

MASON, New Hampshire – On Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at approximately 8:01 p.m., the New Hampshire State Police Troop B Barracks responded to the intersection of Route 124 and Route 31 for a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.
Upon arrival, it was determined that a 2009 Ford F-250 was traveling eastbound on Route 124 and a 2021 Kawasaki ZR900 motorcycle was traveling southbound on route Route 31 when the vehicles collided. The operator of the F-250 was identified as:

Matthew Leclair 
Age: 55
Mason, NH

The operator of the motorcycle was identified as:

Jessica Westover 
Age: 32
Fitchburg, MA

Ms. Westover was transported to the Eliot Hospital to be treated for serious injuries. 

At the request of the Troop B Barracks, the Collision Analysis & Reconstruction (C.A.R.) Unit responded to the scene and assisted with the investigation. The Mason Fire Department assisted on scene as well.
