Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash

Sunapee, New Hampshire – On November 30, 2022 at approximately 6:26 PM, Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop C and D barracks along with members of the Sunapee Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Rte. 11 in Sunapee, in the area north of Trow Hill Road.

On scene investigation determined that a 2022 Toyota Rav4 driven by a 22-year-old female from Sunapee, NH was traveling southbound when it collided with a tree that was falling across the roadway. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Sunapee Police Department, Sunapee Fire Department and the New London EMS assisted the New Hampshire State Police on scene.

The deceased female has been identified as Mary K. Moynihan, age 22, of Sunapee, New Hampshire.
