Tractor Trailer Crash - 89 SB, Warner
On 3/10/22 at approximately 1237 hours, State Police received calls about a Tractor Trailer roll over on I-89 southbound at mile 17 at exit 8. Apparently, a tractor trailer was driving in the right lane as it approached a right hand curve in the roadway. During this time, traffic in front of the truck began to brake. As a result, the tractor trailer began to brake and move into the left high speed lane. It was during this time when the truck lost control and flipped over onto its left side. As a result, the truck slid on its side for approximately 200’ feet and damaged the guardrail and bridge abutment located on the left side of the highway. The tractor trailer owned by VJ Enterprise INC, Billerica, MA was loaded with packaged crushed stone. The operator, Michael Golio, 27, Methuen, MA,was transported to the Concord Hospital by Warner Fire and Rescue to be evaluated. Both lanes of I-89 SB were shut down for an extended period of time. Traffic was routed around the scene by using the right break down lane. NHSP Troop D was assisted on scene by NHSP Troop G, Warner Fire and Rescue, NHDOT (Warner), NHOT Bride Maintenance, DES, Safe Harbors, and Matt Browns Truck Repair.
