Troop G - Truck Driving Championships

PEMBROKE, New Hampshire – The Division of Motor Vehicles Director John Marasco, members of New Hampshire State Police Troop G and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration are joining the New Hampshire Motor Transport Association in the 2022 Truck Driving Championships and Step Van Driving Championships being held today at Associated Grocers of New England in Pembroke.

This daylong event is free to the public and provides attendees an opportunity to experience a competitive event, which tests the skills of professional truck drivers from around the state. Participants take part in a written exam, pre-trip inspection and a skills test. Each category is judged by industry volunteers as well as members of the Troop G Motor Carrier Unit and their Command Staff, both past and present. The state final winners will compete against other states at the National Truck Driving Championship being held August 16-19, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The partnership with the New Hampshire Motor Transport Association is both enjoyable and appreciated, working collaboratively toward obtaining the goal of safe drivers, safe vehicles and safe roadways.

The New Hampshire Motor Transport Association has been serving the trucking industry since 1931. They are a non-profit trade organization representing truck owners and operators serving as an advocate for motor transport before federal, state and municipal government bodies as well as providing valuable training opportunities to their membership.
