Two Arrested For Computer Crimes And Completing Unauthorized State Motor Vehicle Inspections

Troop G

CONCORD, N.H. – Two people were taken into custody after investigators determined they misused credentials to conduct unauthorized state vehicle inspections.

On Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, State Troopers assigned to the Troop G Investigations Unit arrested Alexis Sepulveda Rivera, 30, and Cristopher R. Rosado Rivera, 34, both of Manchester. They were taken into custody without incident.

An investigation determined Sepulveda Rivera provided Rosado Rivera with the username credentials belonging to other employees who were certified to conduct motor vehicle safety inspections. Rosado Rivera, who was not certified to conduct such inspections, then used the credentials to conduct unauthorized inspections, resulting in the false reporting of inspection data. The unauthorized inspections were completed while the certified employees were out of state.

Sepulveda Rivera was charged with two misdemeanor counts of computer-related offenses. Rosado Rivera was charged with four misdemeanor counts of counterfeit, unauthorized or forged stickers, or decals or facsimile.

Both are scheduled to be arraigned in Manchester District Court on Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.

Anyone with additional information regarding these arrests is asked to contact Detective Christopher J. Prenaveau at christopher.j.prenaveau@dos.nh.gov.
