Two Men Hurt in Pittsfield Shooting; No Ongoing Threat - Updated

As a result of this investigation, the following individual has been arrested and charged:

Age: 31
Gilmanton, NH 

ASHLEY is currently being held at Merrimack County Jail pending an arraignment on Monday January 8, 2024. He is being charged with First Degree Assault and two, (2), counts of Reckless Conduct with a Deadly Weapon.

PITTSFIELD, New Hampshire – At approximately 11:50 a.m. today, officers from the Pittsfield Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 54 Main Street in Pittsfield. When officers arrived, they found two injured men in a parking lot. The victims were transported to Concord Hospital as officers began to search for the suspect.

At the request of the Pittsfield Police Department, Troopers with the New Hampshire State Police responded to assist and assumed the lead of the investigation under the direction of the Major Crime Unit.

All parties involved in this incident are currently accounted for and cooperating with the investigation, and there is no ongoing threat.
