Upcoming Saturation Patrol
Greater Concord Area
Concord, New Hampshire – Colonel Nathan Noyes, Director of the New Hampshire State Police and Lieutenant Daniel Baldassarre, Troop D Commander announce that on Saturday, July 30, 2022, State Troopers from the Troop D barracks will conduct DWI Saturation Patrols in the Greater Concord Area. This initiative is sponsored and funded by the New Hampshire Office of Highway Safety and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The program provides federal highway safety funds to support these saturation patrols. NHTSA analytical data from 2020 shows that in the United States, 32 people die each day in a drunk driving accident - that is one person, every 45 minutes.
The New Hampshire State Police have taken an aggressive stance to prevent persons from driving when impaired. New Hampshire has some of the most aggressive laws in the country to fight impaired driving and the law enforcement community will use those tools to their fullest extent.
