Violation Of Domestic Violence Protective Order

PIERMONT, N.H. – On September 23, 2024, the New Hampshire State Police – Troop F investigated a violation of a domestic violence protective order. As a result of the investigation conducted by uniformed patrol and the detective bureau, Michael Schauer, 40, of Piermont, was arrested and charged with violating a domestic violence protective order.
Schauer was arraigned yesterday, September 24, 2024, and released on personal recognizance bail with a court date of December 11, 2024 in Haverhill District Court.
Schauer works as an Assistant Grafton County Attorney and pursuant to protocol has been placed on administrative leave.

The charges against Schauer are only allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
