Wrong-Way Driver/DUI - I93; Hooksett, NH
On June 6, 2021 at approximately 1:10am New Hampshire State Police dispatch received a report of a wrong way driver on Route 101 in Manchester, NH. Troopers from both Troop B and Troop D barracks responded to intercept the vehicle.
A short time later, an off-duty officer reported that the vehicle was observed traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of travel on Interstate 93 in Hooksett, NH; almost striking them head-on.
Trooper Matthew Field was immediately able to intercept the vehicle, deploying a tire deflation device on Interstate 93 at the Hooksett Toll plaza. Trooper Field, along with other responding troopers, were able to safely bring the vehicle to a stop in the area of the Hooksett Rest area.

ANDERSON, Laura
Age: 47
Brentwood, NH
An investigation revealed that ANDERSON was operating while DUI. ANDERSON was subsequently arrested for DUI and Reckless Conduct. ANDERSON was held in protective custody and will be arraigned in the Merrimack Superior Court.
