Wrong-Way Driver/DUI, Interstate 93; New Hampton and Northfield, NH

On July 5, 2020, shortly before 12:00am, Trooper Kenneth McGrath responded to the report of a vehicle off the roadway on Interstate 93 South in New Hampton. Upon arrival, Trooper McGrath discovered a vehicle facing the wrong-way on the roadway.

Trooper McGrath was able to determine that the vehicle had in fact been traveling the wrong-way on the Interstate, and had stopped briefly before being encountered by Trooper McGrath. Further investigation revealed that the operator by intoxicating liquor or drugs and was subsequently arrested by Trooper McGrath.

The operator was identified as:

MOORE, Heidijo
Age: 46
Milton, NH

MOORE was processed and bailed and will be arraigned in the Laconia District Court on the following charges: DUI (Subsequent), Resisting Arrest, Criminal Mischief

A short time later, NHSP Troop D was advised of a motorcycle traveling on the wrong side of the roadway on Interstate 93 North in Tilton, NH. Trooper Daniel Livingstone cleared from the scene of the prior wrong-way driver, and with the assistance of the Tilton Police Department, was able to intercept the motorcycle on Interstate 93 North in Northfield, NH.

Trooper Livingstone conducted an investigation, which resulted in the operator being arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs.

Age: 27
Woburn, MA

MAHER was processed and bailed and will be arraigned in the Franklin District Court on the following charges:
