The New Hampshire State Police D.A.R.E. Classic 5K is in its 32nd year and is a fundraiser for the D.A.R.E. program in New Hampshire.

Proceeds from the race are used to provide D.A.R.E. workbooks for the 80 communities within the state that provide D.A.R.E. classes at elementary schools. New Hampshire is also the training hub for new D.A.R.E. officers in northern New England, and funds from the D.A.R.E. Classic 5K assist in paying for this training. Each year, the New Hampshire State Police hosts a two-week school for police officers to be trained on how to teach D.A.R.E. throughout New England.

NH D.A.R.E. Officer of the Year Awards

Each school year, the D.A.R.E. Coordinator's Office recognizes one individual who demonstrates skill, dedication and exemplifies what being a D.A.R.E. officer should be. Nominations are accepted from students, teachers, school administrators, etc.
