On December 28, 2019 at approximately 1:30 am, NHSP Troop D responded to the report a two vehicle, motor vehicle accident involving a NHDOT plow truck on Route 4, Chichester, NH.

An investigation revealed that a NHDOT pickup truck was traveling westbound on Route 4 when it encountered a vehicle traveling eastbound, which had crossed over the double yellow lines and into its lane of travel. Attempts to avoid the vehicle were unsuccessful and the both collided head-on.

The NHDOT operator was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

On Friday, December 06, 2019 at approximately 6:30 a.m., Northwood Police and Fire were notified of a serious motor vehicle crash on Route 4 in their town. Upon their arrival, they observed that the crash involved two vehicles. A 2016 Western Star box truck was traveling westbound when it came to a stop and began backing up into a driveway on the southern side of the roadway. A 1999 Ford Taurus was also traveling westbound and while the box truck was in the process of backing into the driveway, the Ford Taurus crashed into the passenger side of the truck.

On Saturday, April 25th, 2020, at approximately 0609 hours, New Hampshire State Police – Troop A Dispatch received a complaint of a road rage incident in which a firearm was brandished by one of the vehicle operators, on Route 16, in Newington.

The suspect vehicle was located a short time later in Newington. Troop-A Troopers made contact with the operator, who was identified as:

On Sunday, October 04, 2020 at approximately 2059, troopers from New Hampshire State Police-Troop D responded to a motorcycle crash on Route 4 in the Town of Andover near mile marker 38.6. It was determined that a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by 42 year-old Dennis Boucher of Hooksett, was traveling east on Route 4 when he failed to negotiate a left hand curve in the roadway and lost control of his motorcycle. After losing control both Dennis Boucher and his passenger, 41 year-old Tonya Boucher were thrown from the motorcycle off the shoulder of the roadway.
