Motor Vehicle Pursuit
Concord, New Hampshire – On September 26, 2022, at approximately 11:30 PM, Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop D Barracks were advised of a motor vehicle pursuit traveling south on Route 106, which had originated in the town of Belmont. As the pursuit continued south, Troopers were able to position themselves with spike strips to assist the Belmont Police Department. Trooper McGregor was able to successfully deploy spike strips on Route 106, in the area of Interstate 393. The operator of the vehicle was later identified as: Tyler W. Hoyt, Age: 28, Concord, NH.

DWI Saturation Patrol, Lakes Region
During the hours of 9:00pm, Saturday, December 15, 2018 through 3:00am, Sunday, December 16, 2018 New Hampshire State Troopers from Troop E in Tamworth conducted a DWI Saturation Patrol in the Lakes Region area in collaboration with the Gilford Police Department, Laconia Police Department and Belmont Police Department.
State Troopers stopped a total of 80 motor vehicles and issued summonses for speed, open container and personal possession of marijuana. Four physical custody arrests were made during this DWI Saturation Patrol period.

No Wake Order - Silver Lake, Belmont
Pursuant to NH RSA 270:132, the New Hampshire State Police - Marine Patrol has instituted a No Wake order on Silver Lake in Belmont. This order will remain in effect until the lake level drops below 467.0 feet above sea level. The gauge at the Department of Environmental Services, Silver Lake station will be used to make this determination.
The Marine Patrol urges all boaters to be aware of their wakes and use caution when operating in channels or close to shore.

Silver Lake No Wake Order Lifted - Belmont
Pursuant to NH RSA 270:132, the New Hampshire State Police – Marine Patrol has lifted the No Wake order on Silver Lake in Belmont as the gauge at the Department of Environmental Services, Silver Lake station has dropped below 467.0 feet above sea level.

Motor Vehicle Crash with Injury, Route 3 at Union Road- Belmont
On 9/4/2020 at approximately 6: 35 PM New Hampshire State Troopers from Troop E were requested by the Belmont Police Department to investigate a serious personal injury crash at the intersection of Route 3 and Union Road in Belmont. The initial investigation revealed that

was driving a silver 2002 Pontiac Grand Am southbound on Route 3 when a Belmont officer attempted to pull her over for a motor vehicle violation. SWEENEY allegedly fled from the officer and crashed into three vehicles at the Union Road intersection.
